Despite development of edu-tourism industry, the contents need to be aligned with Muslim friendly context as considering the majority of Muslim population in Terengganu. However, many visitors were not aware the existence of edu-tourism products in attracting them to revisit Terengganu. The statistic of visitors to edu-tourism destinations also has shown an inconsistent growth and percentage of decrease. Few studies in tourism emphasized on promotion and infrastructure and did not recognized tourism operators, event managements, local communities, investments, educational institutions and tourism organizations are factors that able to influence tourist satisfactions and bring development towards edu-tourism in Terengganu. This research developed four (4) research objectives that are; (1) To determine the tourists' profile who visit edu-tourism locations in Terengganu, (2) To examine the effect of tour operators, event managements, local communities, investments, educational institutions and tourism organisations towards tourist intention to re-visit Terengganu, (3) To examine the mediating effects of tourist satisfactions between determinant factors and tourist intention to re-visit Terengganu and (4) To examine the mediating effects of Muslim friendly between determinant factors and tourist intention to re-visit in Terengganu. Datas were collected using questionnaires distributed to tourists who arrived at seven (7) edu-tourism destinations. The total sample size for this population is 384 and data was computed with Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS) to conduct the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Successfully, the beta estimate of the path analysis between tour operators, event management, local communities, investmen, educational institutions and organisations towards tourist intention to re-visit Terengganu revealed a positive and significant relationship. Therefore, this indicated that these factors have a direct effect that contributes to the tourist intention to re-visit Terengganu. Meanwhile, tourist satisfactions has no mediation effects between tourism operators, event managements, local communities and investment towards tourist intention to revisit Terengganu. However, there are mediating effects between educational institutions and tourism organizations. Meanwhile, Muslim friendly has no mediation effect between tourism operators, event managements and investment towards tourist intention to revisit Terengganu. On contrary, results revealed that Muslim friendly has significant mediating effects between local communities, educational institutions and tourism organizations.The results of this study provide evidence that tourism operators, event managements, local communities, investments, educational institutions, tourism organizations hava significant effects on tourist intention to revisit the edu-tourism industry in Terengganu. Meanwhile, the confirmation of the mediating roles of Muslim friendly and tourist satisfactions commitment in this study has an important implication towards management in edu-tourism fields. The study resulted in several theoretical and practical contributions to tourism organizations, tourism operators, event managers, tourism operators, academicians and government sectors.
