It is now being heavily used in the diverse fields of construction, agriculture, manufacturing, information technology, telecommunications, education, and many more. The high incidence of multi-sector projects leads to the growing importance of successful project management. This study examined the influence of project management performance on project success of ICT projects in the Jordanian healthcare sector. The study also determined the effect of project management performance on project risk management of ICT projects in the Jordanian healthcare sector. The study also investigated the effect of project risk management on the ICT projects success in the Jordanian healthcare sector. Additionally, the study determined the mediating impact of project risk management on the relationship between project management performance and project success of ICT projects in the Jordanian healthcare sector. Furthermore, the study examined the moderating impact of organizational culture on the relationship between project management performance and project success of ICT projects in the Jordanian healthcare sector. The study employed both the combination of qualitative and quantitative in collecting the data. The target population of this study is the 457 ICT employees in the Ministry of Health in Jordan. Initially, the sample size of this study was 208 ICT employees of Ministry of Health in Jordan. However, the sample was increased to 400 to avoid response error. A total number 400 questionnaires were distributed to employees. Completed questionnaires were collected for further analysis and there were 300 questionnaires that were valid (representing 75.0% response rate). The framework of the study was tested using Structural Equation Model (SEM) to prove the hypotheses that were developed for the study. The results revealed that the influence of project management performance on project success is positive and statistically significant. Similarly, the result indicated that project management performance has a statistically significant positive effect on project risk management. Also, project risk management has a significant positive effect on project success. Furthermore, the finding showed that project risk management partially mediates the relationship between project management performance and project success. Project risk management also has a direct and significant effect to the project success. Finally, the result confirms the moderating effect of organizational culture on the relationship between project management performance and project success. The results supported the theories of resource-based view theory, modern portfolio theory and contingency theory. Hence, the study recommended that managers of ICT projects in the Jordanian healthcare sector should focus on creating a high level of customers satisfaction to establish positive relationships with customers. Accordingly, it is very important to have a qualified project manager for ICT project and effective communication to develop the trust between employees which will help to exchange the information needed for the successful ICT projects implementation. The effective communication can be applied through many ways such as; creating communication plan, regular meetings with the team and distributing the minutes of meetings. Moreover, the well prepared and qualified team will definitely help their manager to complete the project successfully. Finally, managers in ICT projects in the Jordanian healthcare sector should focus on creating a high level of patients’ satisfaction to establish positive relationships with patients.
