However, the contrary occurred in the manufacturing sector and this situation has continued until today, causing the issue of intention to leave to continue. Nevertheless, the labour force participation rate (LFPR) and employment opportunities increased every year. This reality focuses on Malay workers because of their loyalty to a company and they are the largest population group in Malaysia that endeavours to maintain economic growth in line with empowering the manufacturing sector. Thus, who is responsible for this situation, is it the Malay workers themselves, companies, or the government? Therefore, this study aimed to identify the relevance of job satisfaction (JS), organizational commitment (OC), and perceived organizational support (POS) as antecedents that predict the intention to leave by Malay workers in the Selangor manufacturing sector. Next, this study aimed to analyse the moderating effects of length of service on the relationship between JS, OC, POS, and intention to leave. Finally, to propose the best antecedent for predicting the intention to leave by Malay workers in the Selangor manufacturing sector. Through literature reviews, a conceptual framework was formed called prediction of Malay workers‟ intention to leave model in the Selangor manufacturing sector. The model displayed the correlation between intention to leave and the JS, OC and POS variables. This study used the quantitative approach that comprised exploration, description and explanatory characteristics and involved the distribution of questionnaires to Malay workers in nine districts in Selangor. Data from the questionnaires were analysed using structural equation modelling (SEM) and run through the IBM-SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) and IBM-AMOS (Analysis of a Moment Structure) software to generate the quantitative results. Overall, the findings showed that JS, OC and POS were strongly relevant as predicting antecedents to intention to leave by Malay workers in the Selangor manufacturing sector. The length of service provided a moderating effect on the relationship between JS, OC, POS and the intention to leave by Malay workers in the Selangor manufacturing sector, with POS being the best predicting antecedent. Although the POS was well catered to Malay workers, it was enough to guarantee that the Malay workers would not have an intention to leave. In continuation, the prediction model for intention to leave by Malay workers was consistent with the validation values according to the Fitness Indexes. The results of this study provided significant contributions in the form of predicting antecedents to the intention to leave by Malay workers and the manufacturing sector, either from the theoretical or empirical aspects. This study offered a unique prediction model for intention to leave by Malay workers. The primary objective was to curb the issue of intention to leave and then to illustrate the attitude of Malay workers at the workplace.
