These challenges increase the stress level of paramedic students when they deal with real patients resulting in poor performance and making mistakes. Therefore, this study sought to determine the effects of using a simulated scenarios as alternate training technique in enhancing the performance of paramedic students’ and to manage stress at Alghad colleges in Almadinah Almonawarah – Saudi Arabia. A one-way repeated measures ANOVA was conducted to compare students' performance during four sessions of simulated scenarios adapted from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT), The participants' stress level during these sessions was analyzed through one-way repeated measures method to explain the difference between three evaluations (before first session, after 2nd session and after 4th session) among paramedic student performance. This repeated measure study of four simulated scenarios sessions recruited 25 paramedic students at Alghad colleges in Almadinah Almonawarah who have completed the academic requirements and are waiting the last year of clinical training which is called “internship”. Last part of this study data was collected through a self-administered questionnaire distributed to the twenty-five (n=25) students after one month of their “internship” to determine the usability and benefits of The Simulated Pre-Hospital Scenarios (SIPS). The results revealed that the difference between student’s performance across four sessions was statistically significant (F (3, 72) = 98.454. p <0.001, η2= 0.804), and the analysis of stress level revealed that the difference between student’s stress across three measurement of stress was statistically significant (F (2, 48) = 445.975. p <0.001, η2= 0.949). Meanwhile, the participants’ responses to the survey indicated that the level of perception regarding to each item was more than midpoint of scale (5) indicating almost high level of perception regarding Simulated Pre-Hospital Scenarios. The study results revealed that participants’ performance has been impacted by the simulation program, and indicated that utilizing of high-fidelity simulation training program could have positive impact on the clinical educational outcomes of the paramedic students.
