The lack of attention in the senior management and supervision of the implementation of occupational safety and health measures reflected negatively on the work environment, leading to an increase in accidents and loss of life and property. It is known that most jordanian companies working in the field of production have no scientific knowledge about the effect of application occupational safety and health measures.The researcher relied on the method of distributed the questionnaire to collected the data from the sample of the study which composed of all the employees of Al-Walaa Catering Services company to all of their administrative staff, three hundred questionnaires were distributed. From there, 294 were retrieved,5 invalid questionnaires were excluded due to filling errors, and the effective number of study and analysis was 289. The questionnaire contains the paragraphs(providing safe work briefings and posters, Providing Personal protective equipment (PPE), supervision, management commitment at OSH, training of workers). It has also been used Likert scale , Ranging from 1(strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agreed) to answer the questionnaire.The results showed that the respondent‟s perceptions of the extent to which occupational safety and health measures were applied were all high. The first rank, was the training of workers with an average of 4.31, second rank was the provision of occupational safety and health equipment with an average of 3.97, third rank was the occupational safety and health with an average of 3.92 the fourth rank was the commitment of senior management to implement safety procedures with an average of 3.89, fifth place is professional supervision with an average of 3.78 and the total average is 3.97. The study showed perceptions of the workers towards the risks in the work environment was at a high level with an average of 3.81. The results concluded a adverse correlation between the application of the occupational safety and health procedures and the controlling of risk in the work environment. We conclude from the study's finding that adherence to the application of occupational safety and health standards and procedures in the study society (Al-Walaa for rations) procedures played a significant role in controlling the risks in the work environment the main elements( application of safety instructions, the provision of safety tools and equipment, professional supervision, the commitment of senior management to the implementation of safety).
