The emergence of new regulations and international standards regarding safety has forced organizations to improve their safety performance. Based on the review of the literature, the key antecedents of SP, including Safety Climate (SC), Safety Behavior (SB), Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS), have an impact on Safety Performance. Also, the literature review revealed that limited studies examined the relationship between SC and SP. However, studies on the mediating roles of SB and OHSMS are limited to predicting SP among ISO18001-Certified manufacturing firms. The current study investigates the direct and indirect relationships between SC, SB, OHSMS, and SP to fill this literature gap. This study employs a quantitative research strategy based on a positivist research philosophy. This cross-sectional study adopted questionnaires from previous studies. Initially, a sample of 266 was selected using stratified sampling from a population of 14920 Electric and Electronic manufacturing firms located in Selangor. To maximize the response rate, three hundred fifty (350) questionnaires were distributed among the targeted employees. However, only 269 questionnaires were returned, which represents a 76.8% response rate. After scrutinizing the responses, only 247 questionnaires were qualified for Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS 24. Initially, data were inspected for missing values, outliers, and normality using SPSS to meet SEM assumptions. Descriptive statistics analysis reported that 15 various ISO18001-Certifed manufacturing firms participated in this study. The SEM analysis confirmed a positive relationship between exogenous variables, e.g., SC, SB, OHSMS, and endogenous variable, i.e., SP. A total of seven hypotheses were tested. The findings also revealed that SB and OHSMS partially mediated the relationship between SC and SP. The post hoc test result indicated an adequate power of 0.82. Overall findings provide comprehensive and constructive insight into the safety performance of ISO18001-Certified manufacturing firms. This study empirically verified an integrative SC, SB, OHSMS, and SP model based on previous literature. The current study also brings several important implications. Recent study findings are relevant to the department of occupational safety and health (DOSH) and regulations related to workplace safety.
