This paper explores literatures and previous studies on the visual haptic applications focusing on handwriting. The advantages, limitations and possible solutions for each stage will be taken into consideration in designing and development and developing Haptik Visual-Jawi (HV-Jawi). The development od the HV-Jawi architecture also has been proposed based on the review and findings of the relevant literatures, previous studies, and our preliminary analysis results. 729-741 Advances in Visual Informatics
